
Anna’s artwork has been exhibited nationwide and she has won numerous awards among which are the Best of Show and Grumbacher Award at the 62nd National Art League Exhibition in New York City. She has won the Kansas Artists Postcard Series four times. She has had work exhibited in the Showcase column of Decor Magazine, on the cover of The Country Register three times and was featured in KANSAS! The Official State Magazine. Anna has been a member of the Kansas Watercolor Society, been invited to exhibit her work in such prestigious shows as the Mountain Oyster Club Western Art Show in Tucson, Arizona and has been interviewed on PBS. Her work is in numerous private and public collections nationwide.
Along with painting original artwork, commissioned pieces, and teaching workshops, Anna has been publishing and selling limited edition prints of her work for the last 14 years. Anna says of her work, “I often use still life to represent certain people that I meet or to convey human emotions. I love to symbolically tell stories of relationships. This is especially true of my series work.”

Anna Seeber Shaw
is a native of Kansas and a 1978 art major graduate of Fort Hays State University.
She has also broadened her art base with various studies at Western State
College of Colorado, Emporia State University, and Wichita State University.
After graduating from college, Anna taught art for eight years at Atwood High
School. She lives on a ranch outside
of Oberlin, Kansas with her husband, Richard, and two of their three children.
